A credit freeze restricts access to your credit report, typically as a security measure to prevent new accounts being opened in your name. As a result, we’re unable to process your application if you have a credit freeze in place.
Here’s how you can temporarily lift your credit freeze to apply:
- Log into TransUnion or create an account
- Once logged in, you will be presented with a status screen that says “Frozen”
- To unfreeze, click the button that says “Remove Freeze”
- Complete your application before the expiration date
